Stem Cell Biologics
hUCT-MSC Stem Cells
Human umbilical cord tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUCT-MSC) represent a younger, more proliferative source of regenerative cells. Our stem cells are ethically sourced, rigorously tested, and cryopreserved for optimal viability.
What Are hUCT-MSC Stem Cells?
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent cells that can differentiate into various tissue types. When sourced from umbilical cord tissue (specifically Wharton's Jelly), these cells are biologically younger, highly proliferative, and naturally immune-privileged.
Unlike bone marrow or adipose-derived MSCs, umbilical cord MSCs come from donated birth tissue that would otherwise be discarded. This makes them an ethical, abundant source of high-quality stem cells.
Why Umbilical Cord Tissue?
- Younger cells with higher proliferative capacity
- Naturally immune-privileged (lower rejection risk)
- Ethically sourced from consenting donors
- No invasive harvesting procedure required
- Higher paracrine signaling activity
Our Quality Standards
Donor Screening
Every donor undergoes comprehensive medical history review and infectious disease testing per FDA 21 CFR Part 1271 requirements before tissue acceptance.
Characterization Testing
Flow cytometry confirms MSC identity via positive markers (CD90, CD166) and negative markers (CD34, CD45) per ISCT guidelines.
Cryopreservation
Controlled-rate freezing and validated thaw protocols ensure consistent 97%+ post-thaw viability across all lots.
AATB Accredited
Sourced from an AATB-accredited tissue establishment meeting the highest standards for tissue banking.
Full Viral Panel
Comprehensive testing for HIV, HBV, HCV, HTLV, CMV, EBV, and other pathogens on every lot.
97% Viability
Our cryopreservation protocols consistently achieve 97%+ post-thaw cell viability.
hUCT-MSC (25 Million)
Our standard stem cell vial contains 25 million viable mesenchymal stem cells derived from Wharton's Jelly. Each vial ships with lot-specific documentation including Certificate of Analysis and donor eligibility records.
Every lot must pass the following tests before release. Results are documented on your lot-specific Certificate of Analysis.
